Seattle Police got active at a May Day demonstration Saturday afternoon. Things escalated and ended with flashbangs and pepper spray.
According to Reuters, sixteen people where arrested when police clashed with protesters. The arrests came after a day of peaceful protests and demonstrations focused on bringing attention “to workers’ rights, immigration issues and police treatment of minorities in the United States.”
The police said they are ready for more protests throughout the weekend. This is absurd.
