It’s that time of year again: March Madness. That means there are going to be no less than 7,000 people asking you to be a part of their pool. Or someone may ask that you start one, which is even worse.
The worst part about being in a March Madness pool, or any Fantasy sports, is always getting the money to, and from people. There’s always that one guy who has never once paid up. That’s where Chillhound comes into play.
Chillhound.com is a new event planning website, in the same vein as Evite or Eventbrite, the main difference being the sites ability to act as a clearinghouse/escrow agent for your money. Throwing a party and want people to chip in? Simply set up the invite, send it out and set a payment. It’s pretty simple. You can, easily and efficiently, keep track of who has paid and who hasn’t.
Get the money up front!
They’ve put together a video that shows you how to set up your brackets. There’s also a contest running on their Facebook page that will let you compete for $400. Give it a shot.
