Italian automaker Automobili Lamborghini announced yesterday that they will be getting in to the Sport Utility Vehicle game. The new SUV is slated to hit the market in 2018. So you have a few years to save up.
There are very few specs real specs on the vehicle, which is currently named Urus, but it will be the company’s first SUV in over 20 years. The last time Lamborghini attempted to enter the SUV world they brought us the hideous LM002. Lambo plans to produce approximately 3,000 units per year and have said they want to market the planned 600-horsepower vehicle as “family” friendly. I’m not quite sure that soccer moms are going to rush out to buy a vehicle that will most likely be six figures, just to take kids to soccer practice, but only time will tell.
