Burberry Perry - "Beautiful Day" ft Lil Yachty, Kylie Jenner, Justine Skye& ; Jordyn Woods

Kylie Jenner Raps. Music Is Dead.

I usually don’t write about new music that I don’t like. Why would I seek out music that I know I’m going to hate? I’m old as fuck, so I know that a lot of new music isn’t for me. I’m not going to listen to a Young Thug album. He[She?] doesn’t make music for me. I’m not his target demographic. Not even close.

So unless someone specifcally tells me to listen to a certain song I stay with artists I like or new music from new artists that I want to review.  And even then I’d never write about how much I hate a song a new artist sent me. There’s enough of that dickery on the internet. I can add to it in other ways.

But today, today was different. I was told that Kylie Jenner was rapping.  So I sought out this song. A song by someone named Burberry Perry featuring Lil Yachty, Kylie Jenner, Justine Skye & Jordyn Woods.  I shouldn’t have done it.

I will readily admit that I am old as fuck. Case in point, before today I had heard of exactly two of those people: Kylie Jenner and Justine Skye. I have no idea who Jordyn Woods is, but I assume that she’s famous for being famous.

But I digress. I listened to this song and to say it’s horrible would be an insult to all the horrible music that’s in the world. This “song” is bad in a new way.  It’s bad in way that makes me question if it’s just me. Am I missing something?

No.

I am not.

This is trash. Listen for yourself. Or don’t.

Nas was right. Hip hop is dead.
