Night of the Slasher

To Catch A Slasher Movie Killer

Have you ever wanted to catch Jason Voorhees? Or maybe Michael Myers? If so, you’re in luck! This short, which was shot in one take, gives you a step by step primer on how to lure a slasher movie antagonist and exact your revenge. All you have to do is commit the standard “Horror Movie Sins” and you’re guaranteed to attract the nearest creepy murderer.

Night of the Slasher is very well shot and very well acted. The lead actress says exactly one word the entire film, but she doesn’t need to say more than that. Writer/director Shant Hamassian shows us that you don’t need a lot of played out dialogue and goofy special effects to make a genuinely entertaining film.  Night of the Slasher was an official selection at SXSW and it’s easy to see why.

Give it a watch and if you want to catch a killer, give it a try. But have a plan in place.
